Aww we got rain in HI. We being from Sk are welcoming the rain, however the word is that there is to be a lot of rain. Flash floods are reported in Honalulu, so hoping that it will not get that bad here.
Yesterday we went to hear a musical called The Night Before" Just amazing, really made it feel like Christmas.
Today being Sunday we attended the Church of Hope, another great service of the Christmas season. Then after that we went for a walk down to the ocean, just a few blocks from H I , then if you can believe it yes I went to the big M and had a coconut pie, back home these at Macs are usually either apple or cherry, and since I love coconut this was wonderful.
Tomorrow it is back to the grind, more rooms to clean, but this is fun since the ladies I work with are just great.
More a few days later.
More rain in Maui,, but there is a lot of sun too.
ReplyDeleteWe are now in our 2nd session here. This is a mens session, who said that women talk more then men,, these men are also full of stories of how wonderful God is and what greatness is happening in there countries because God is in it.
We are very busy here and after work often flop into bed for 1/2 hour. The time is going very quickly and now we have 3 weeks left, if it was not for our children that we miss terribly we would be quite willing to stay a while longer. Especially when we hear that the temps at home are at -30+ , we will take the + 27-30 any day.
We will have much to tell when we get home. Journeraling is not so much on my list of things to do, sorry.
