Aww we got rain in HI. We being from Sk are welcoming the rain, however the word is that there is to be a lot of rain. Flash floods are reported in Honalulu, so hoping that it will not get that bad here.
Yesterday we went to hear a musical called The Night Before" Just amazing, really made it feel like Christmas.
Today being Sunday we attended the Church of Hope, another great service of the Christmas season. Then after that we went for a walk down to the ocean, just a few blocks from H I , then if you can believe it yes I went to the big M and had a coconut pie, back home these at Macs are usually either apple or cherry, and since I love coconut this was wonderful.
Tomorrow it is back to the grind, more rooms to clean, but this is fun since the ladies I work with are just great.
More a few days later.

HI everyone..
Yes we have arrived here in Maui.
The weather is just the way we want it, not to hot and nooooo not cold either. oops already I broke my promise, shucks anyway.
Today was my first day of work , though half the day was training. I work with a team of 3 sometimes 4 women. Yes I am on hotel cleaning. Spring cleaning, deep cleaning and room make -up. Don't make sense ?? they do to me now.. Basically this means VERY CLEAN.
Since it is so near to Christmas there are no participants here so the cleaning is on a real frenzy.

Believe it or not the first morning here we got woke up by a rooster crowing out side our window,, what next,, sure enough I looked out side and there he was in all his splendor and giving it all he was worth. Ha !!!we had to devise a way that we would not hear him as early as 4:30 am, fans a sure a wonderful thing. Some here think that a rooster roast would be tasty.

Now I am tired and will leave you with good-night.

From Dec 14 to March 14 Art (my husband) and I will be going to do a volunteer service at the Haggai Institute in Maui Hi. Now there are only 4 sleeps left before we leave.

We are flying West jet all the way. Starting from Saskatoon then to Calgary, Vancouver where we will do customs and then onto Kahului Hi.

For those of you not familiar with Haggai may google it and see what this is all about. As you will see it is an amazing place that God is in control of, doing his work of bring souls to know our Saviour all over the world.
I cannot promise to blog daily but I will try to do my best, well maybe just a few times a week, depending how busy we are. Awww yes I will not bore you with the warm weather we are experiencing, or even ask how cold you are back in Canada.

Please know that all comments you wish to leave will be greatly appreciated and even more so please pray for us and the Haggai Institute. That we will be of use to them, stay healthy, and enjoy what we will do there.
We do indeed feel privileged and humbled to have been excepted to service God in this way.
